Brand & strategy
Positioning
The place you aim to occupy in the customer's mind relative to competitors, and how you differ from them.
Positioning defines how you want to be perceived: who you're for, what problem you solve and why you specifically. It's the strategic foundation communication and product flow from.
Why it matters
Without clear positioning you blend into the competition and compete on price. Strong positioning gives a reason to choose you — even at a higher price.
Real-world example
An agency positions itself not as "more marketing" but as "AI-powered, human-led" — machine speed with senior quality. That decides who they attract and who remembers them.
