Lead nurturing is the process of building a relationship with leads who aren't ready to buy yet. Through content, emails and timed messages you move them down the funnel toward a decision.
Why it matters
Most leads don't buy right away. Without nurturing you lose them; with the right sequence you turn "not yet" into "yes" the moment the person is ready.
Real-world example
A lead downloads a guide but doesn't buy. A five-email sequence shows them case studies and answers objections over three weeks — and the sixth email, with an offer, converts.
