Performance marketing
Remarketing
Targeting ads at people who already visited a site or engaged with the brand, aiming to bring them back to convert.
Remarketing (retargeting) reaches users who've already shown interest — visited the site, added to cart, watched a video. Ads remind them across sites and networks.
Why it matters
Most people don't buy on the first visit. Remarketing is one of the most efficient tactics because it targets an already-warm, high-intent audience.
Real-world example
A customer abandons their cart. Within 24 hours they see an Instagram ad with that exact product and a 10% discount — and complete the purchase.
